Reports To: Global Pharmaceutical Account Executive

Job Responsibility:

· To play a key role across China & Hong Kong in business/market development for growing revenue within the pharmaceutical sector;
· To identify opportunities through strategic selling, market research, channel strategies and other activities to drive growth and increase market presence;
· To provide technical & application knowledge and expertise to the sales process to facilitate competitive success;
· To develop and maintain high-level relationship with customers and key influencers as well as an active participation in the selling process;
· To provide deep, ongoing analysis and understanding of the pharmaceutical markets, our product positioning, and key target accounts;
· To utilise knowledge and understanding of pharmaceutical processes to identify opportunities, and to articulate our value proposition to our customer set.

Skills/Qualifications:

l Bachelor''s Degree (B.S./B.A.) in a scientific discipline (molecular biology, genetics or
biochemistry required. Completion of an advanced degree in business (MBA) or
related science is strongly desired;
· Must be passionate about driving new revenue growth within the pharmaceutical segment;
· Needs to flexible and understand that this is a new growth initiative;
· Understanding of strategic issues with the ability to understand how actions will ultimately result in creating new revenue opportunities;
· Ability to travel within China to carry out primary responsibilities;
· Strong communication skills. Must be able to listen effectively, yet be able to present information to broad audiences of various levels;
· Proven ability to lead and influence a broad spectrum of constituents (product management, division marketing, sales, etc.) with divergent interests in order to create a defined and focused course of action.
· Life science industry experience in the China market
· Exceptional English & Chinese communication skills
· Good understanding of local China business cultures and practices

Marketing Communication Specialist

Responsibility
l Assist Marketing Manager in managing and developing targeted communication and marketing activities
l To prepare Chinese Version of Products and Application materials
l To do quarterly direct mail programs, monitor roll-out of the campaign and check for success level
l To prepare the Chinese version of Advertisement and contact the media for publication.
l To work with service agency for booth design for scientific meeting and tradeshow fairs
l Manage customer databases, marketing activity trackers, web content

Requirements
l A bachelor''s degree or equivalent in communication, marketing, journalism, advertising, or a related field with relevant experience in scientific or technical communications
l Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in Chinese and English
l Experience in development and management of events, conference, displays, workshops and exhibitions
l Experience in web site content maintenance
l Experience with Photoshop and Illustrator software preferred.
